Sterling Silver Encaustic Tile Cufflinks
Description
Incorporating ceramic from an original Palace of Westminster floor tile, these unique sterling silver cufflinks are a wearable link to the political past of the United Kingdom. Designed by the Victorian architect A.W.N. Pugin, the tiles have been walked upon some of the country's most renowned politicians, as well as kings, queens and foreign dignitaries.
Presented in a gift box and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, the cufflinks have been made by skilled jewellers using a combination of sterling silver and a section of encaustic tile removed from the Houses of Parliament as part of a restoration project.
Please note, the nature of this product means each pair is unique and may vary slightly from the image shown. You may receive cufflinks in any variation of the colours of the original Palace floor tiles.
