Description
This black and white photograph from 1905 shows a view of the Grand Staircase inside the Palace of Westminster. The Grand Staircase is located between the Peers' Cloakroom on the ground floor and the Lords Chamber on the principal floor. It is considered to be one of the finest architectural features of the Palace. The image has been reproduced from the original glass plate negative held in the Parliamentary Archives.
