Our new range of House of Commons wines feature a label design inspired by the Victorian-era, neo-gothic designs of A.W.N. Pugin, who oversaw virtually all aspects of the Palace of Westminster's interior design during its reconstruction in the 19th century.
This House of Commons Merlot (2022) is a perfectly balanced red that gives pleasing aromas of blackcurrants and red cherries with a hint of spice. It's produced by the Vicomte establishment in heart of the Languedoc region, whose villages of the Aumelas Plateau have been inhabited by winegrowers for 25 centuries.
Ideal paired with red meat such as beef or lamb thanks to its fruity style and tannins.
