Description

This fine bone china coaster features the crowned portcullis​ to the centre with a gilt edge.​Symbolising strength and security, the portcullis is the official symbol ​of the House of Commons and UK Parliament, and can be seen in ​​many places around the Palace of Westminster. The addition of the ​​crown makes it a royal symbol, which the monarch grants ​Parliament ​a license to use. ​

Measuring approximately 5” in diameter it can be used in a variety ​of different ways: as a coaster, as a coin tray or as a trinket tray.
